Feeling like something sweet? Something chocolate? No sugar, no butter, no oil!!! I have no idea regarding the calorie count but I am sure it is lower than a typical chocolate cake.
Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: Approx 35-45 min (depends on your oven)
Ingredients:
- 2 big bananas
- 1/2 cup of yoghurt (I used plain but you could use vanilla &/or greek)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 & 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Some more chocolate chips to sprinkle on top
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray either a bundt pan or a square pan with cooking spray.
- Mix bananas, yoghurt, honey, vanilla and peanut butter in a bowl. Blend until smooth, 1-2 minutes
- Add an egg & mix again.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda, mix until incorporated.
- Add the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, mix.
- Pour the cake into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the top of the cake with additional chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean/dry.
